For the past seven years, my life has revolved around three incredible blessings—my precious, brilliant, and handsome son, Prince Mekhai, and my two grandsons, Amir and Khalil. They have filled my days with joy, purpose, and unforgettable moments. Through rain, sleet, snow, sickness, or sunshine, I’ve committed myself to growth and truly cherish being a part of their lives.
Now, in 2025, as I move forward with grace and purpose, my life is a whirlwind of productivity. My days begin at 5 AM and are packed from sunrise to sunset, balancing the demands of business projects with the rewarding yet exhausting roles of parenting and grandparenting. Though the grind can feel overwhelming at times, I find moments of reflection scrolling through social media, reminded of my growth, goals, and health. Amid the noise of negativity, human self-destruction, and external pressures, I am reminded of the value of my peace and how truly good my life is.
Prince, Amir, and Khalil share an unbreakable bond with me, turning ordinary moments into extraordinary memories. Our weekend adventures—building sandcastles at the beach, kayaking on tranquil lakes, strolling through parks surrounded by nature’s beauty, or enjoying quiet evenings cooking creative meals and watching Disney classics—are my “savior moments.” These simple joys around me, fill my chaotic schedule with peace and gratitude.
Motherhood at what the medical world refers to as “advanced maternal age”—pregnancy after 35—has been both a revelation and a blessing. If someone had told me that having a child later in life and becoming a grandmother at 45 would steer me away from self-destruction and grant me a profound appreciation for time, space, and life’s simplicity, I would have laughed. Yet, here I am—living proof of the joy and perspective my three amigos have brought into my life.
